nuvoteQ Foundation secures $300k for Africa's clinical-trials infrastructure

$300k+ secured to advance Africa's clinical-trials infrastructure. 🚀

We're thrilled to announce that the nuvoteQ Foundation and CEPI — the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations — have committed combined funding to accelerate the Clinical Trials Community (CTC) platform, ctc.africa: the open, living map of Africa's trial sites, CROs, sponsors and regulators.

Here's a quick look at how these resources will be used:

• AMR & AI integration — $150,000, nuvoteQ Foundation. Originating from our recent Africa's Business Heroes prize, this grant funds a new antimicrobial-resistance (AMR) mapping module and integrates AI-driven data capabilities into the platform.
• Platform sustainability — $168,000, CEPI. This sponsorship secures critical platform operations for the next 12 months and supports our structural transition toward a permanent African institutional host.

With four institutional funders now backing the Clinical Trials Community (Africa) platform, this marks a major step toward long-term, Africa-based governance and financial self-sustainability.
